Review S.W.A.T.: Firefight (2011): Enjoyable very late at night!

genre: action, crime, thriller

This title came up in my quest to watch all die hard clones made on this planet. And I am not sure why it did since I don't think this can be qualified as one.

S.W.A.T. Firefight is more an action film with a little predictable plot that tries to be real compelling and dramatic and kinda misses the mark to do that. Actually the plot is incredibly ridiculous and illogical. And if you think about it makes fun of people with real psychological disorders. The action which will be the main draw is decent and stylish enough but not exciting enough to be impressed by it. There is some comradery going on although without giving you enough on the characters to root for them so that at one point their decisions to root for their leader does not make real sense. Oh I get it the plot requires to and it was nice to see still at the end of it all feels quite pointless.

Overall this is one of those films that will be a whole lot more enjoyable very late at night. Not more that I can say about this. Nor do I wish to. (For people expecting more of the same as the S.W.A.T. film with Samuel L. Jackson and Collin Farrel will be very disappointed because both films could not be more different.)
