This Means War is a nice combination of a romantic comedy and action. Although it is a little light on the romance part. Action aficionados will have more than enough to satisfy them. Which leaves the focus on the comedy. The jokes are sufficient ranging from bland to occasionally hilarious. Like I said, it's light on romance so Reese Witherspoon does not have much to do. She is merely used as a plot device in relation to two CIA agents who are best friends and fall for her. Most of the movie concentrates on the actions of these agents in order to win her heart. Which is fun. Especially since the three main characters are all very likable. But that is it. There is no deeper plot with twists or turns or whatever. It's simply an amusing little movie going for a few laughs which it does deliver on.
