Headhunters is an engaging movie and from start to finish will it keep you on your toes.
The pacing is fast most of the time only in the last scenes does it slow down. A little too much if you ask me. But that is nitpicking a little. It has been a long time that I have seen a contemporary thriller that managed to surprise me en entertain me as much as it did. The less you know the better it will be for your experience. One thing I will mention though. It was refreshing to see a main character that is intelligent and pushed into something obviously out of his element. But manages to cope with it despite the horrid ordeals he will have to go through. There are elements that are a little convenient for the character and the plot but honestly that would be nitpicking again. It's something I would like to see more often. I get that even the smartest people can make mistakes. It's fine to show that. But to have them make ones they normally would is not a good thing. So yes I really appreciate this film not falling for the usual traps.
One of the best thrillers that has come out 2011. A must watch!
