So yes, compared to the fans, we know very little of The Backrooms, but if you are going to introduce a general audience to this topic, you should pique the interest of people. The idea of getting stuck in a liminal space forever is a very scary notion. Seems ideal for a horror film. Except Backrooms fails to deliver in almost every aspect we look for in a horror film.
