Lockout is predictable but good fun. It's not without flaws though. For a Luc Besson production it lacks that certain style and punch that Besson is famous for.The action scenes were over before you could enjoy them. And for an action movie it was a bit too talkative and plot heavy. There are two factors that make the movie or actually two actors that make it worth your time. Guy Pearce (our main character) and psycho villain Hydell, played by Joseph Gilgun. He was like Justin's Theroux character in Charlie Angels:Full Throttle only much more deranged. Guy Pearce is a reluctant hero and clearly enjoys himself. He basically is telling us not to take the movie seriously. Too bad that the director wasn't up to speed hence his focus on the mediocre plot. Is it worth seeing in the cinema? No. Lockout is a movie made to watch at home.
